The Team Associated RC10B84.1 brings a number of new parts and revisions compared with the previous B84 platform.

For racers already running a B84, one of the biggest questions is going to be simple:

We've gone through the parts information and identified the new B84.1-specific or revised parts below.

RC10B84.1 New Parts List

Chassis and Side Rails

Two of the key parts are the 92500 T84 chassis and 92501 side rails.

These form part of the core B84.1 platform and are worth knowing about if you're a B84 racer deciding which spares from your existing pit box will carry across and which B84.1 parts you'll need to add.

Revised Steering

The B84.1 also gets revised steering components:

92601 – Steering Bellcrank Post, V2
92602 – Steering Bellcrank, V2

Again, these are parts B84.1 racers will want to identify correctly when ordering replacement steering components rather than assuming an older B84 part is the same.

Suspension Changes

There are several changes around the suspension.

At the front, the B84.1 uses the 92624 73mm Front Suspension Arms, together with the 92622 Front Shock Tower for the 73mm arm configuration.

At the rear there's the 92588 Rear Suspension Arms, V2, 78mm.

The arm mounts identified for the B84.1 include:

92604 – Arm Mount, A
92605 – Arm Mount, B
92539 – Arm Mount, C

These are particularly important parts to identify correctly when buying spares, as it's easy to assume an arm mount from an earlier car is the required replacement.

Drivetrain

We've also identified two drivetrain parts in the B84.1 changes:

92216 – CVA Cup, Centre, Aluminium
92212 – HD CVA Bone, 66mm

Front Bumper

The B84.1 also has its own 92609 T84 Front Bumper.

It's exactly the sort of inexpensive spare that's useful to have in the race box before you need it.
