About Seth's RC

Seth's RC is a small father-and-son RC shop run by me, Richi, and inspired by my son Seth and our shared love of RC racing.

Seth started racing at our local club, Potteries Radio Controlled Car Club (PRCMCC), and it quickly became something we both got heavily involved in. We race 1/10 off-road buggies together, and 2026 has been Seth's first year competing in the BRCA MidWest Regionals.

It's been a brilliant first season for him. Seth became a junior team driver for CML/Team Associated and took 1st place in the B Final at the 2026 BRCA Junior Nationals. We're hoping to take another step in 2027 and enter the BRCA Nationals.

Why we started Seth's RC

The idea behind the shop came from our own experience racing.

When something breaks on an RC car, you normally know exactly which part you need. The problem is finding somewhere that actually has it available, at a fair price, and can get it to you before you need to race again.

That's what we're trying to build with Seth's RC.

We specialise in genuine Team Associated, Schumacher and XRAY race spares, concentrating on the cars you'll actually see being raced at clubs and regional meetings. We're gradually building our physical stock and our long-term aim is to have as much as possible sitting here ready to go.

We're still a small business, and that's something we're proud of. When you contact Seth's RC, you're talking to the people who actually run it and race the cars.

Away from the RC track

RC racing isn't my only expensive hobby! I'm also a keen motorcyclist and ride a KTM Super Duke. If the weather's decent and I'm not at an RC track, there's a good chance I'll be out on the KTM.

Seth keeps himself pretty busy too. As well as racing and working on his RC cars, he enjoys cycling, belongs to a Jujitsu academy and creates content for his social media channels.

Seth's RC gives us something we're able to build together alongside his racing.

Seth's big plan

Seth has much bigger ideas for Seth's RC than just an online spares shop.

One day, he'd love to have a proper physical RC shop with its own outdoor and indoor race tracks, a crawler course and a small-scale shop track where kids can have a go with smaller RC cars for free.

His idea even includes an RC Café, where Mum and Dad can sit down with a coffee while the kids are having a go with the cars.

That's obviously a long way from where we are today, but he's got plenty of time. For now, we're concentrating on building Seth's RC gradually, growing our stock, looking after our customers and enjoying our racing along the way.
